Slovenia fined an influencer for illegal child labor

The fine of EUR 1.500 was issued by the Inspectorate for Labour in Slovenia because the online influencer did not obtain a permit for child work, 24ur reports.

In Slovenia, the work of children under the age of 15 is prohibited, but there are some exceptions, and, for a fee, kids can participate in the filming and performance of artistic, scenic and other works in the field of cultural, artistic, sports and advertising activities.

But, a permit must be obtained before children start working. This is the first case where an influencer has been fined for not obtaining a permit.
