Mercedes-Benz will invest one billion euros in its factory in Jawor, Poland, the representatives of the German giant announced during a press conference, as Business Insider Polska reports.
According to the memorandum signed by Mercedes-Benz with the Polish government, this investment will go into the construction of electric vehicles. Thus, in the future more than 1,000 new jobs will be created at Jawor.
The Germans started construction of the plant in Jawor, Lower Silesia, in 2017. It produces four-cylinder gasoline or diesel engines and electric batteries for Mercedes-Benz cars.
