London’s Covent Garden came out as the most popular shopping street in Europe, according to a recent report released by UNiDAYS.
Covent Garden gathered almost 1.5 million photos on Instagram, and a monthly search of almost 150,000 across the world.
While one of the oldest shopping spots in London, it sees only 65% as much foot traffic as London’s next most-popular shopping street, Oxford Street.
With more than 72,000 visitors to the shopping street daily, Oxford street is the most visited shopping destination in Europe.
Madrid Gran Via sits in second, with an average of 60,800 pedestrians per day, followed by Regent Street in London (56,900) and Milan Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (54.600).
