Italian police have seized 4.3 tonnes of cocaine with a street value of 240 million euros, according to Reuters and ANSA.
Investigators said the criminal gangs that bought the narcotics paid around 96 million euros.
In addition to several vehicles, including a truck and an SUV worth over 100.000 euros, 1.8 million euros in cash were also seized.
This is one of the largest such seizures in Europe and came at the end of an international investigation that resulted in arrest for 38 people in six countries.
