Hilton has confirmed the expansion of its DoubleTree hotel portfolio, with the announcement of six new European hotels.
Targeted countries for new openings are Italy (Milan), France, Romania (Brasov), Hungary (Budapest), the Netherlands and Germany.
DoubleTree is Hilton’s fastest growing full-service brand in Europe, with 37 hotels expected to open in the region in the next five years.
The new hotels will join more than 120 DoubleTree properties currently operating in Europe.
DoubleTree by Hilton Milan Malpensa Solbiate Olona – Italy inauguration is scheduled for April 2022. The hotel will join seven other DoubleTree by Hilton properties operating in Italy.
The 246-room hotel will open following a franchise agreement with the GDF Group, a well-established partner of Hilton in Italy.
DoubleTree by Hilton Budapest Buda Hills Hotel and Residences is set to open in 2023.
The impressive hotel will have wellness & spa facilities, a swimming pool and conference facilities.
The hotel will be inaugurated following a franchise agreement with Rupphegyi Kft, a Hungarian real estate development and management company.
