eMAG is the leader of the online commerce sector in Hungary

Romanian retailer eMAG is the leader of the online commerce sector in Hungary, according to market research firm GKID.

This year, eMAG, along with the courier company Sameday, will expand the EasyBox network in Hungary from 450 to 700 units.

Also, delivery will be accelerated with the completion of the EUR 100 million investment in the first eMAG warehouse outside Romania, located in Dunaharaszti, near Budapest, in early 2023.

The company’s local marketplace, where over 2,000 Romanian partners are active, generates more than 40% of the platform’s revenues.

Hungarian customers can access almost 4 million products from a single platform, eMAG.hu, including via the mobile app.
